Three adults and two children were taken to hospital following crash near Ettington on Monday.

Five people - including two children - were injured in a crash in south Warwickshire yesterday (Monday).

The crash, between a car and a van, occured on the A429 near Ettington at around 8.20pm. Four ambulances and an air ambulance attended the scene, where two men had been thrown from the van.

The driver, a man in his 30s, suffered serious multiple pelvic and leg injuries and was anesthetised at the scene by a doctor.

The passenger, also in his 30s, suffered head, back and abdominal injuries. Both were taken to the University Hospital in Coventry.

A woman in her 30s and two children travelling in the car were treated for minor injuries and then taken to hospital for further assessment.
