Hatton school founder scoops giving extra award

Another round of praise has come in for a Warwick woman who have up her life to help give child victims of bullying a fresh start.

Vivian Morgan was named as one of 66 Halifax Giving Extra Award winners this year for her ongoing work at Northleigh House School.

The mother, who lives in Hatton with her husband Fred, set up the school at her home several years ago help children who had been bullied.

She said: “I am thrilled to bits. It is wonderful that the school can be recognised in this way.”

Mrs Morgan is now in with a change of being selected as a regional winner after making it through in the regional final.

The pair last year won a Pride of Britain Award for their work for children.
