The latest phase of the £11 million sewer upgrade project in Leamington is due to end today (Thursday).
Severn Trent Water and NMCNomenca have completed the work on Radford Road, although National Grid’s gas work will continue at the Radford Road/Althorpe Street junction for three weeks.
Severn Trent’s senior programme engineer Chris Keys said: “We’ve made good progress and will finish our work on Radford Road ahead of schedule. This is a tremendous achievement given the size and complexity of the project.”
The sewer upgrade work has now moved on to Davidson Avenue. The whole project, which began in 2010, is due to end next month.
