Two robbers threatened a staff member in a Lillington shop before stealing cash.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery, which occurred at Coral Racing in Crown Way on Monday September 16 at 8.50pm.
One of the robbers entered the bookmakers and threatened a member of staff, before he was joined by another man, who waited at the door.
They stole a small amount of cash and ran from the shop.
The main offender is described as a black man who was 6 ft tall, stocky, of a heavy build and wearing a bandana across the face and a black zip-up padded jacket, black woollen gloves, and dark jeans. He had a Midlands accent.
The second man is also described as black and also wore a bandana across his face. One was taller than the other.
Following the incident, officers including a police dog team, searched the area.
Any witnesses to the robbery or anyone who believes they may have seen the two men in the area at the time are asked to contact Police constable Steven Monckton on 415000 ext 4278 or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Officers are keeping an open mind whether the incident is linked to a similar robbery, also involving two black men, that occurred at Mark Travis in Tachbrook Road, Leamington, at 7.10pm on Thursday September 5, where a small amount of cash was stolen.
