Fire crews attended the scene on the Warwick bypass.

Emergency services rescued two people who were hurt in a crash on the Warwick bypass yesterday (Monday).

The collision occurred between a light goods vehicle and a van on the northbound carriageway of the A46, and fire crews from Leamington and Kenilworth were called to the scene at around 4.50pm.

The air ambulance and land ambulance also attended the incident and took one injured person to hospital, while another was treated at the scene. The fire crews helped to remove the vehicles from the carriageway.
