Appeal for information after alleged assault in south Leamington
POLICE are appealing for information after an alleged assault in Leamington town centre early on Sunday evening.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with facial injuries including a bloody nose and split lip after the incident, believed to have taken place in Packington Place off High Street at around 6.40pm.
Officers arrested a 45-year-old Leamington man on suspicion of assault. Following questioning, he was later released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries.
