Arrest over cash theft from Warwickshire Police HQ

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of stealing more than £100,000 from the former police headquarters in Leek Wootton.

Officers investigating the disappearance of £113,000 from the building, which is owned by Warwickshire Police, arrested the 54-year-old at his home in the Stratford area today (Wednesday). He has been taken into custody for questioning.

Anyone with information which they think may assist officers in their investigation is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
