Basement fire in Leamington

FIRE crews rushed to a home in Leamington to attend to a fire in the basement in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

Two engines were called to the house in Lillington Road at around 5.10am after a small amount of rubbish had caught fire and spread. It took firefighters around one hour to extinguish the flames.
