Body found near Warwick Racecourse

POLICE were called to land next to Warwick Racecourse on Tuesday after a body was found hanging in trees.

The body, which was found by a member of the public, is thought to have been there for some time. Procedures are underway to identify the person and a post mortem examination is due to be held and the Warwickshire Coroner has been informed, but police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Although the body has not been identified police have informed relatives of Brian Reading, a missing person from Warwick, of the discovery and they are being kept informed.

Mr Reading has been missing since July 21. Det Insp Liam Barry, who has managed the search for Mr Reading, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the public for their continued support in helping to locate him.
