Car stolen in Leamington burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen during a burglary in Leamington on New Year’s Eve.

The incident happened in Lime Avenue between 5pm and 9.30pm.

Burglars broke into the rear of the home and made an untidy search of all the rooms before stealing four bottles of spirits and the keys to the car.

They then stole the black VW Passat off the driveway outside.
