Family fun marks Kenilworth’s very first foodie fortnight
FOOD lovers came out to celebrate the end of Kenilworth’s very first Foodie Fortnight in support of town businesses.
The two-week long event which was all about promoting town eateries, pubs and restaurants brought visitors flocking to enjoy promotions and special offers.
There were also a range of stalls, demonstration stands, children’s cookery classes and competitions across the event. Residents learnt about using local produce and were even encouraged to adopt hens for fresh eggs.
Organised by Kenilworth Town Centre Partnership, a celebratory fair was held to mark the end of the fortnight, which has been hailed as a success and already set to be rolled out as an annual event.
