Four arrested on suspicion of Class A drugs in Leamington

POLICE have arrested four people on drugs related charges involving heroin and crack cocaine including a 16-year-old boy.

On Tuesday, a 59-year-old men was arrested in St Mary’s Road, Leamington, and a 42-year-old woman was arrested in Sydenham Drive on suspicion of possessing crack cocaine.

The teenage boy was arrested later in the day on the canal path near Sydenham Drive on suspicion of possession of with intent to supply crack.

A 41-year-old man was also arrested at an address in Fallow Hill, Sydenham, on suspicion of possession of with intent to supply heroin.

AOfficers, who were members Warwickshire’s Serious Organised Crime Team (SOCT) and the Acquisitive Crime Team (ACT) also executed a warrant at the same address in Fallow Hill where they recovered substantial quantities of drugs believed to be heroin and crack.

All four of those arrested have been questioned and released on bail pending examination of the recovered substances.
