Gang attack in Lillington

A MAN was forced to remove his upper clothing to escape a gang who attacked him in Lillington last Wednesday.

The four-strong gang attacked the 28-year-old in Buckley Road at about 5.30pm.

The victim managed to escape but also lost his shoes.

His attackers caught up with him in Wellington Road, where a further struggle took place.

The victim then took refuge in a garden before the police were called.

The gang left the area in a green Ford Focus.

Anyone who witnessed the attack is asked contact police staff investigator Rob French 415000 on extension 4045 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
