Bid to stop all sex establishments

There has been widespread dismay amongst residents of Leamington following the decision made by Warwick District Council’s Regulatory committee to grant a sex entertainment licence to Amara.

I wish to inform those residents that the Labour group on the district council will be calling for a change to the current policy and will propose that the council adopt a “nil cap” policy to stop sex establishment venues being established, not just in Leamington, but within the whole of Warwick district. Cllr Alan Wilkinson (Lab Brunswick) will be the lead councillor dealing with this item. - Cllr John Barrott (Lab Willes), Leader District Labour Group.
