Re: Last week’s front page - I think it would be an excellent idea to flood the mere again.

A great way to bring more visitors to Kenilworth and make it an even more exciting place to live. In terms of improving Kenilworth I think recreating the mere would be second only to building a station in Kenilworth and would partially offset the negative impact of HS2.

I know this has been looked at on and off before but it would be great to see the town and English Heritage get behind it this time around. - Ben Shaw, Birches Lane, Kenilworth.
