Man arrested over sexual incident in Leamington

A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually touching a woman in Leamington’s Old Town last night (Thursday).

The incident occured near the Range Master factory in Clarence Street at around midnight.

The 39-year-old was arrested around 15 minutes later in Clemens Street. He is currently in police custody.

Officers are investigating allegations that the man may have bumped into one or more women just before the alleged incident occurred and are appealing for witnesses or anyone who can assist their enquiries to come forward.
