Man charged following drugs raid in Leamington

A man who was arrested following a drugs raid in Leamington has been charged with drugs and firearm offences.

The 25-year-old Birmingham man was arrested on Wednesday at a property in Camberwell Terrace, where officers discovered a quantity of drugs and weapons following a joint operation between Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police.

He has now been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of drugs believed to be amphetamines and cannabis.

He is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on June 27.
