MUSIC and rare Sunday sunshine brought hundreds of people to a mini-festival in a Leamington park.

Organisers of the Party in the Dell estimate that between 300 and 400 people turned up at the park to listen and dance to live musical talents from Leamington and surrounding areas and tuck into food provided by Bath Place Community Venture.

James Knight, of the organising committee, said: “Lots of people contributed their time and energy to it and to see it happening felt really good.

“It was so good that we are trying to put together some funding to be able to make it an annual event.”

Mr Knight also performed with The Swaps, while the bill also included an acoustics set by Trinity School students.
