Police name motorcyclist who died in Baginton

POLICE have confirmed the identity of the motorcyclist who died in as a result of a road collision on Stoneleigh Road in Bagington on Thursday.

He was 38-year-old Jason Bayliss, of Morfa Gardens, Coventry.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses to the collision which took place at about 7pm near the junction between Stoneleigh Road and Bubbenhall Road and involved a black Suzuki motor bike, which was travelling towards Baginton.

Mr Bayliss sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.

Pc Wayne Knight, of the Warwickshire Police Major Incident Unit, would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the motorbike before the collision occurred.
