Tackle crime on your doorstep

WHITNASH people can find out more about dealing with rogue traders and distraction burglars from police and trading standards officers early next month.

Pcso Sharron Underwood will be hosting a presentation on fighting doorstep crime at Whitnash Methodist church in Murcott Road East on Wednesday October 3 at 1pm.

Residents will be able to watch a presentation and short film about what to do if rogue traders call at their house, take part in role plays as well as get security equipment and deterrents.

Firefighters from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service will also be giving fire prevention and safety information.
