TWO teenage men are “lucky” to be alive after they crawled out of the wreckage of a Land Rover in which they were travelling.

The vehicle overturned in Ashorne Hill near Leamington at about 12.40pm today (Tuesday).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service crew was called to the scene and a senior paramedic officer also attended.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “As you can see from the pictures, the Land Rover cab was completely flattened, yet the two men managed to crawl out with just some scratches to their backs and faces and some nettle stings.

“They were checked over and discharged at scene.

“They were very, very lucky indeed.”
