Tenants’ issues take centre stage at free event

COUNCIL house tenants in Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth and surrounding areas can ask questions and find out more about rents, finances, budgeting and benefits at an event tomorrow (Saturday).

Staff from Warwick District Council’s housing and property services department, a panel of tenants and housing contractors will be offering advice and addressing queries and concerns at the event, called ‘Tenants Together’, which is taking place at the Pump Room in Leamington from 10am to 1pm.

Tenants will be able to fill in a survey about their housing service which will be entered into a prize draw to win a Samsung Galaxy tablet, while there will also be ‘spot’ prizes awarded on the day - including an iPod Touch, the services of a cleaner or handyman, a year’s subscription to Sky and a Christmas hamper.

There will be free sports play sessions for children at 10am and 11.15am and crafts and entertainments throughout the event.
