Two suffer head injuries in crash near Leamington

TWO people suffered serious head injuries in a car crash near Leamington yesterday (Sunday April 15).

A silver Volkswagen Golf estate car was in a collision with a silver Subaru Impreza on the A452 in Blackdown at around 9.40pm.

The accident happened when the Volkswagen, which was travelling towards Leamington, was overtaking a double decker bus and was in collision with the Subaru, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

Both cars were badly damaged and two passengers in the Subaru were taken to Warwick Hospital with head injuries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision itself, or anyone who saw the cars before the crash.
