Van catches fire near Leek Wooton

A van caught fire on a major road near Leek Wootton yesterday evening (Monday).

The Peaugeot van caught fire on the A46 northbound during the evening rush hour.

Police closed the road in both directions so the incident could be attended to, causing long tailbacks. The southbound road was reopened at 6.30pm and the northbound just after 6.40pm.
