Warwickshire teachers protest and call for Gove to go

Teachers and education workers in Warwickshire are inviting parents and students to join them in a union demonstration calling for Education Secretary Michael Gove to be removed from his post.

Members of the TUC and other unions will be gathering outside the Department for Education office in Buuts Road, Earlsdon Park, Coventry, today (Wednesday) to coincide with a TUC ‘day of action’ in London.

Andy Summers, of the Warwickshire branch of the National Union of Teachers, said: “Warwickshire NUT will be demonstrating alongside other workers harmed by this educational catastrophe and hope to be joined by the local community who are the real victims.”
