More break-ins in Warwick

The police are appealing for information after more homes were broken into in Warwick.

Last week The Courier ran an online story reporting that there had been six break-ins in Warwick in just five days.

There has now been a further three incidents in the town.

The first break-in (incident number 99 of March 25) happened in Byron Avenue.

At some point between 4pm on March 19 and 9am on March 25 someone broke into a garage that was in a block of garages.

The offenders broke the locks off the garage door and then entered but nothing was stolen.

The second break-in (incident number 279 of March 24) happened between 1pm on March 23 and 3pm on March 24 at a home in Emscote Road.

Offenders forced open a secure wooden door and after gaining access they searched the house.

They made off with several items including a black Playstation 3 console, around 50 games and DVDs as well as some money and a white IPhone 6.

The third incident (incident 58 of March 24) happened at a home in Fields Court.

Sometime during the night of March 23 going into the early hours of March 24 offenders entered the home through an insecure front door and went upstairs.

They then searched through a laptop bag at the top of the stairs and stole a set of house and car keys, which they then used to steal a BMW vehicle that was outside the property.
