“Over £2 million of new funding will go a long way to ridding our roads of potholes.
“Investing in Britain’s roads and infrastructure is a key part of the Conservatives’ long-term economic plan to secure a better future for Britain – and this is just a part of that.”
In total £5.8 million of additional funding for the county has been announced for this year, on top of the annual roads maintenance budget.
