Open day at disc golf course for women

Have your say

Quarry Park Disc Golf Course near Leamington is holding its first ever open day aimed at women and girls.

On Saturday June 6 female players from across the UK will be travelling to the 18-hole course to practice, play and grow the sport of disc golf.

Disc golf is played using a frisbee instead of a golf ball and baskets instead of holes, otherwise rules are the same.

Organisers are inviting women of all ages to come along for a day of tuition and games all for £10.

No experience is needed and coaching will be provided in techniques for players to how to throw, turn and glide a disc and to hit a target.

To book a place call Quarry Park on 07939 657635.
