Option to study new Tech Bacc in Warwickshire
Warwickshire College has been selected by the Government as one of five colleges in the UK to offer students the change to study the new TechBacc qualification.
The qualification aims to provide 16 to 19-year-olds with real-life technical skills and a firm grasp of mathematics and includes an in-depth industry research project.
College principal and chief executive Mariane Cavalli said, “Our engineering students will now be able to make use of the state-of-the-art facilities at our Rugby centre. The college has exceptional links with engineering employers and is looking forward to working with them to develop high quality, industry-standard projects with the students.”
