Plane makes emergency landing in field near Rugby

A light aeroplane was forced to make an emergency landing in field near Rugby last night (Friday).

Police were called to a site near the Straight Mile at Bourton-on-Dunsmore at around 6.30pm after receiving reports that an aircraft was making an emergency landing.

It was reported that the plane had landed safely, suffering minor damage, and the two occupants were uninjured. Warwickshire Fire Service also attended the scene as a precaution.
