Plasticine creations at Leamington pub

DINERS and drinkers at the Clarendon pub in Leamington will be met by some rather unusual plasticine characters this winter.

Rowan Abbott, an artist and model maker from the town, is currently displaying his work at the pub in Clarendon Avenue.

Rowan, who specialises in plasticine characters and miniature set design, takes inspiration for his pieces from his interest in ‘stop motion film’ - a style which has proved to be popular in the music world. His models have been used in a music video and as album artwork for several bands from the south Warwickshire area.

He also works to commission and can create customised models for individual specification.
