Police are appealing for witnesses after a 20-year-old man was bitten by a dog in a Leamington park.

The man was walking in the park on Tuesday July 5 next to Westlea Road when he was approached by a black dog, believed to be a Labrador.

The dog bit the man on his hand and caused enough damage to require hospital treatment. It ran away soon after.
