Police call over Leek Wootton assault

Police are appealing for information after a woman was attacked in Leek Wootton over the Easter weekend.

A woman was walking from Warwick to Leek Wootton along Warwick Road at around 10pm on Easter Sunday, April 20.

A man approached and assaulted her as she passed the golf club in the village sometime before 11pm.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious or a man and woman in the area at the time.
