Fire crews cut a casualty free from a car after a crash in Stoneleigh.

The incident, involving one car, took place at the Cloud Bridge on Coventry Road at about 10.40am yesterday (Tuesday).

Two crews from Leamington attended the incident following a call from Warwickshire Police.

One casualty was trapped as a result of the injuries they had sustained.

Once the vehicle had been stabilised, fire crews used specialist cutting equipment to allow access to the casualty.

At 11:23am the crews informed service control that the casualty had been released and was in the care of the ambulance service.
