Summer holiday fun for all across south Warwickshire

The summer holidays will soon be here - and children in south Warwickshire have plenty of choices for different ways to enjoy their time off school.

In Whitnash, Coventry City’s charitable arm Sky Blues in the Community are delivering free activities for children throughout August, thanks to funding from Whitnash Town Council. These will include multi-sports, street dance and an introduction to boxing skills. All sessions last for two hours and will take place at the Community Centre in Acre Close, delivered by qualified coaches. To find out more, visit www.sbitc.org/whitnash

At Warwick Castle, Horrible Histories live on stage is taking place from July 23 to September 4, while the Rise of the Kingmaker jousting tournament is on between July 23 and September 4. New attractions to see also include the Horrible Histories maze and Devile Warwicke Tower Trail and the popular Mighty Trebuchet and birds of prey shows will take place throughout the holidays. www.warwick-castle.com
