Eddie Izzard continued calls for Britain to stay in the EU while out running in Leamington in a video which has already been viewed thousands of times across the world.
The stand-up comedian filmed himself jogging in the Pump Room Gardens on Wednesday morning ahead of an appearance at the University of Warwick where he will speak for the Stronger in Europe campaign.
The shows form part of his tour of 31 cities to encourage people to vote Remain in the vote on June 23, and previously urging young voters to have a say on an issue which will deeply affect them.
The Periscope video, which was viewed almost 7,000 times within just an hour of being Tweeted by the star, was uploaded with the message: “Out running in Leamington Spa. Beautiful morning. Doing a speech at Warwick University at 12.30pm.”
While in the park, the comedian greeted passers by and talked to the camera about the need for tolerance and a better future.
