Children at a Warwick school have planted 100 trees and bushes to help the environment.
Year two pupils from Emscote Infant School, in All Saints Road, helped plant the field maple and goat willow trees on April 1.

The trees were donated by Warwick-based business ABH Head-Rhead to compensate for the amount of carbon the company produces.

Pupils and staff have recently received an Eco School award and are constantly thinking of new ways to help the environment.

Secretary Linda Hart said: "It is a big topic at the moment and it is something we are trying to push even further.

"Just simple things like switching off lights help the environment."
