The owners of a Warwick business park have sold part of their development for more than £14 million.
Opus Land, which owns Opus 40, off Birmingham Road, has sold its Point 3 building to Hildane Properties.
The building’s current tenant Telent has contracts with Northern Line, Merseyrail and National Express and moved to the site last year.
The company has 450 staff and have recently extended the original ten-year lease by five years.
The business park has three separate office buildings which have a total of 26 sq m floor space. The remaining two properties are leased to IBM.
Opus Land managing director Richard Smith said: “We have taken the decision to use the current improvement in the investment market to crystallise assets and sell prime investments of this nature. It will give us the opportunity to pursue our plans for the development as a whole.”
The company has retained 11 around acres of land and is currently seeking planning permission for further developments, which would provide up to 27,870 sq m of extra office space.
