The parents of a man who died after falling from the roof of a car have issued a statement about their son, Andrew Travers.
Michelle and John Travers said: "Andrew was born on Wednesday February 7, 1989, at the Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry. We lived in the Stoke area of Coventry, and Andrew attended Southfields Nursery and then All Saints Primary School until 1996 when we
moved to Woodford Halse in Northamptonshire.

"Andrew attended Woodford Halse Primary where he was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 10.

"Andrew was the eldest of three boys and had an older sister, Katie. All the children being very close in age they were very close to each other and supported each other.

"Andrew attended Southam College from September 2000 where he had a colourful and often eventful educational career. He gained GCSEs and continued into sixth form. He loved drumming, football and film.

"By the time Andrew was 18 he had, despite difficulties, successfully forged an impressive and active life.

"He was in his final year of sixth form, doing A Levels in Media and History. He had an active social life in which he revelled at being the comedian.

"Andrew had managed to combine all his greatest loves - he spent Fridays working at a drum shop for NVQ accreditation, he worked at his beloved Coventry City's Ricoh Arena, he channelled his love of film into a Media Studies A Level and was one quarter of the band Ad Ricoh.

"Andrew's future brimmed with possibilities The band was going from strength to strength, he had job offers but was also thinking about university and joining the fire service.

"At an athletic 6' 2" Andrew made his presence felt, not just physically. He was an extremely talented, bright and ferociously quick-witted young man who deeply affected everyone who knew him."
