Sports galore at St Nics
Children from around Warwick, Leamington and Kenilworth enjoyed ideal conditions for a day of sport at St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre on Tuesday.
Almost 100 youngsters, all aged between eight and 11, took part in basketball, cricket, athletics, football, tennis and badminton before colling off in the swimming pool.
After the games every child received a prize, with the top competitors in each event receiving gold, silver and bronze medals.
Leisure centre manager Judie Bragg said: "It's been a fantastic day. We were lucky this year because it hasn't rained but it hasn't been too hot.
"The idea was just for kids to enjoy themselves and take part in sport and the event has gone from strength to strength over the years."
The day was attended by Warwick mayor Coun Martyn Ashford and Warwick District Council vice chairman Judy Falp.
