Leamington FC has signed a five-year deal to provide more boys', girls' and women's football.
The club has a new agreement with Leamington Brakes FC (boys) and Leamington Lions (girls and ladies). Next season 12 boys' teams, six girls' teams and a ladies' side will all play in Brakes' gold and black colours.

Each club will remain an independent entity responsible for its own finances, but will work together on a five-year plan to secure ground investment and improvements.

Jim Scott, Brakes' community develpoment officer, said: "This agreement formalises the informal relationships which have developed between the clubs in the past three years."

"It will be exciting to see more than 400 boys, girls, ladies and men playing in the club colours next season."

"More importantly, this is a major step forward in the combined ambitions of all three clubs as we seek to develop facilities and opportunities for the whole of the Leamington community."

"It means we can deliver enhanced coaching in schools and within the community as well as accelerating the personal development of players and coaches."

"Pooling our resources and expertise will enable us to move forward at a greater pace."

The Lions first team will continue to play their home games at the New Windmill and Leamington Brakes' Midland Junior Premier League side will also use the ground.
