Leamington manager Jason Cadden has signed striker Keith Rostill from Midland Alliance side Alvechurch.
The prolific forward has scored more than 160 Alliance and Midland Combination goals in five years at Lye Meadow.

Cadden, who has long been a fan of the 28-year-old and is confident he will make the grade at step four of the non-league pyramid.

"I've been an admirer of his for a while now. I tried to sign him a couple of years ago but he decided to stay at Alvechurch.

"But he's agreed to come now and it's a good opportunity for him."

"He's a big strong lad with a goalscoring pedigree and he'll offer us some of what we've lost with Russ Dunkley leaving."

Rostill is likely to be in the squad when Brakes play Willenhall Town at the New Windmill on Saturday (3pm). Marcus Jackson and Stuart Herlihy could both feature after returning to training this week.

Captain Arron Parkinson is a doubt with a troublesome groin.

Brakes have also signed midfielder/forward Sheay Morgan from Coleshill Town.

Morgan, a former Aston Villa player who appeared in an the FA Youth Cup Final, has been recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.

Cadden said: "He's been training with us for a while now after getting in touch with us. He's one for the future."
