Kenilworth Runners turned out in force - and dressed for the occasion - at the 16th annual Resolution Relay on New Year's Day.
More than 30 members arrived at Crackley Lane to burn off the festive excess over a two-lap fun run for teams of two, tackling the circuit in a variety of fancy-dress outfits. A glass of mulled wine and a mince pie completed a bracing start to 2007.
Lucy Aphramor and Yvonne Shillington claimed first place, with Roland Smythe and Mike Cahill clinching the additional prize for sartorial elegance courtesy of their Strictly Come Dancing-inspired outfits.

The club, which holds its annual general meeting on January 26 at the Wardens ground in Glasshouse Lane (7.30pm), also announced the successful candidates in its London Marathon draw. Pauline Dable, Emily Beacham and Gary Bradbury won the much sought-after places.
In action elsewhere, Barry Elkington was an excellent fourth overall after coming within a whisker of his predicted time in the inaugural Massey Ferguson Pace Race in the Park.
The Runner was only seven seconds down on his target of 22.22 for the five-kilometre test at the Memorial Park in Coventry. Mick Williams and Richard Steel produced the club contingent's quickest actual times of 20.48 and 22.07 respectively - but finished 28 and 36 seconds off their predicted pace for ninth and 12th overall.
Mick Williams was a superb 20th of 255 at one of the toughest cross country races on the district calendar on Sunday. The veteran clocked 467.21 for a mud-spattered Huncote Hash event in Leicestershire.
The testing course included a leg-sapping ascent of Croft Hill, 100m of stream bed and a house-high mountain of quarry sand near to the finish.
Colin Bricher completed the Gaddesby Gallop five-miler in a creditable 56.55.
The Kenilworth Runner took on a novel route featuring a dew pond, a brook and a section of drainage pipe, finishing 99th.
