The battle for the Southern League Division One Midlands title still isn't over.
At least that's what Leamington manager Jason Cadden reckons.

Leamington have three games left to secure home advantage in the Southern League play-offs.

Cadden refuses to give up on the Division One Midlands title, although with leaders Evesham needing just one win from their final three games a slip-up looks unlikely.

Brakes guaranteed a play-off place with Tuesday's 3-0 win at Rothwell Town. The priority now is to finish in second place for the home advantage that would bring.

The manager said: "We've achieved what we set out to achieve at the start of the season but we've got more to do and we still aren't ruling out the title yet."

"I'm still waiting for Evesham to fail, which will put the pressure back on them."

"There are three games to go and we're six points behind so it can still happen."

"We were always confident we'd reach the play-offs as we've hardly been out of the top two all season."

"Now our main aim is to finish second and I think we need two wins from the last three games to do that. We want home advantage."

The three points earned at Rothwell mean Leamington can finish no lower than fourth in the table and will contest a one-legged play-off semi-final on Tuesday April 29. The match will be at the New Windmill if they finish second or third.

The play-off decider on Saturday May 3 will be at the home venue of the finalists who finished higher.
