Ulisha Rajput has become one of the youngest black belts in the country after following in the footsteps of her father and brother.
The Leamington ten-year-old achieved her Tae Kwon Do award at the National Academy in Bristol following a tough three-hour grading exam.
The dedicated student has been training in the Korean martial art for just over four years and has rarely missed a session in that time.
She also trains with her brother Harish, who obtained his black belt in October last year at the age of 13, and father Ash, who became a black belt in October 2008.
During the grading they were assessed on patterns (forms), floor work, sparring and theory.
Ulisha trains at Round Oak School in Warwick where there are structured lessons for adults and children as young as four. Call 815632 or 810333.
