Festival first for Combstock as Hope continues fine start to Kenilworth life

Emerson Combstock of Coventry Godiva Harriers was the winner of the Kenilworth Runners-hosted Kenilworth Festival 10k.

Marie Voice made a fine return to running after a study-induced break, with the Kenilworth Runners athlete following up a ninth-place finish at the DK10k with victory at the Thunder Run 10k.

Shakespeare Half Marathon podium places for Simkiss and Shepherd

In a busy weekend of racing, the highlight was second and third places for Kenilworth Runners’ Richard Simkiss and Spa Striders’ Rich Shephard at the Shakespeare Half Marathon in Stratford.

Harrison comes through to claim European bronze

Sue Harrison held her form while others suffered to claim bronze for Great Britain at the European 100k Championships in Belves, France.

Six of Spa Striders London Marathon finishers enjoy the moment: Simon Radcliffe, Nick Adams, Melissa Venables, Roz Cox, Clare Hinton and Barbara Gunter.

Siggers claims a club record with  a top-75 finish at London Marathon

Kenilworth Runners had their strongest-ever representation at the London Marathon, with four men taking part in the incorporated England Marathon Championships and it was reflected with four sub-2hr 45min finishes.
