Budbrooke into national finals
Budbrooke will represent the Midlands in the national final of the ESFA Danone Under-11 Schools Cup after winning the regional competition at Nottingham University.
Budbrooke, who conceded just one goal throughout the tournament, were crowned after a thrilling penalty shoot-out victory over Fairhaven Primary School.
Manager Luke Brereton said: “This is a great achievement for the team. They have shown great passion, enthusiasm, determination, skill and most importantly team spirit and character which have been the major ingredients behind Budbrooke FC’s success. We are looking forward to the national finals already.”
