Josh is main Mann as Khalsa finally lift Division One Cup

Harbury almost found themselves a goal down in the opening minute but they were behind mid-way through the first half when Gurdeep Dulay netted for Khalsa.

A second goal two minutes after the break from Josh Mann gave Khalsa a firm grip on the tie despite Harbury battling hard to reduce the deficit in the later stages.

Mid-Warwickshire Police kept their treble hopes alive with a 2-0 success over Stockton in the semi-final of the Unison Challenge Cup.

Division Two title-chasers Police, who have already made the final of the Cancer Supplementary Cup, opened the scoring in the sixth minute when a corner went into the net off the back of Steve Flavell.

Stockton dominated possession but were unable to capitalise and Police sealed their victory when Gaz Williams fired home from the edge of the box.

In Division Two, Warwick Wanderers preserved their unbeaten record with a comfortable 8-0 victory over bottom-club Leamington Juniors.

Andrew Gregory bagged a hat-trick with Joey Holland, Jason Holland, Danny Meades, Kurt Parsons and Adam Timlin completing the scoring for Wanderers, who hold four games in hand on their title rivals.

One of those, Bishops Itchington, went to the summit with a Jordan Gill-inspired win over Khalsa Reserves.

Gill scored three in the 6-0 success with Josh Turton (2) and Tom Cross completing the scoring.

Westlea Wanderers also remain in the title mix after a 5-0 thrashing of Leam Spartans.

Richard Spring (2), Duncan Hughes, Jim Canning and Neil Stacey were the Wanderers marksmen.

A Ross Jackson hat-trick helped Chadwick End to a 4-2 win over Bubbenhall.

Dave Oldfield had earlier put Chadwick End one up, with Liam Flowers and Dave Paget replying for Bubbenhall.

Ettington Rovers eased their relegation fears in Division Three with a welcome 2-1 win over Engine.

Alex Pitts scored both, with Ash Clarke netting Engine’s reply.

A solitary Mark Damp strike earned Bishops Tachbrook all three points against Leamington Rangers.

With the Division Four title already in the bag, Warwick Juniors won 3-1 at Priors Marston.

Matt Saunders, Filippo Mannina and Adam Maltby scored for Juniors with Mitch Coleman getting Priors’ consolation.

Real Barston boosted their promotion hopes with a 3-1 win over Tiddington.

Gary McDowall, Brian Spackman and an own goal did the damage, with Chris George netting for Tiddington.

Midland Rangers kept their Division Five double hopes alive with a 3-2 win over second-placed Castle Rangers, while Jonny Timms scored twice as HRI Wellesbourne rounded their season off with a 6-1 victory over Kineton S&SC.
