RUGBY: Sixth win on the spin for Rugby Welsh
Midlands 5 West (South)
Rugby Welsh 38 Stourport 12
Welsh produced another solid performance, achieving their sixth victory in a row in all competitions, to defeat a spirited Stourport.
For a change the weather was good as Welsh faced another new side in the league and they began well when following a break by Adam Bond, centre Jason Warren crashed over.

The game became an even affair before flyhalf Jack Taylor scampered in. Towards the end of the half both sides made some mistakes and Welsh capitalised when Robin Tyerman scored an opportunist try. Welsh clinched their bonus point and gave themselves some breathing space when Lorenzo Gallone kicked and chased a loose ball to score another converted try.
Both sides continued to play attacking rugby in the second half and eventually Jamie Roche crashed over. Stourport were deservedly rewarded for their efforts scoring a converted try after a period of pressure.
Welsh were in control and following a series of penalties Welsh opted for a scrum and Jay Ellerington broke blind and put through Jason Warren.
