Former national team boss Graham Taylor has lent his vast experience to the girls of Leamington Lions under-14s.
Taylor, now a BBC radio pundit, ran a coaching session for the girls during the National Grass Roots Exhibition event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Saturday. They won the treat in a BBC radio competition.

Lions coach Paul O'Rafferty said: "He was charming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. This was a great privilege for the Lions."

Taylor and the girls worked on ball skills, close control, turns and shooting before staging a mini game.

He also spent time with the parents and signed pictures and England shirts for the girls.

Leamington Lions are still on the lookout for new players for next season - particularly under-11s, 12s and 13s.

Girls of any ability are welcome to come training every Wednesday evening at Myton School.

The FA Charter Standard Club caters for under-eights through to ladies and offers qualified FA Coaching, UEFA 'B' coaches and a qualified goalkeeping coach.

Contact Stuart Crutchley on 07970 876569 or Paul O'Rafferty on 07917 445594.
